5 Best Fitness Bands Under Rs 5000 in India (Updated)

Best Fitness Bands Under Rs 5000

These days you can buy a Smartwatch at Rs 2000, so why one should buy Fitness Bands worth Rs 5000?

When you buy a Smartwatch worth Rs 2000 or even Rs 3000, that smartwatch won’t give you accurate fitness data or it won’t be comfortable while exercising.

Now, that won’t be the same as the case for everyone, so choose the one you like. Talking about myself, I’m not a big fan of budget smartwatches.

The main reason for that is that most budget smartwatches don’t come with a microphone or speakers. In short, they’re just fitness bands with a bigger display and still, don’t provide accurate fitness data.

Now, I can go on and on but hope you got my point.

That said, let’s take a look at some of the best fitness bands which you can buy for under Rs 5000 in India.

Honor Band 6

Stress Monitor

I have been using Honor Band 6 for about a year and still, it’s working great. One of the best things about the Honor Band 6 is its display quality, 1.47-inches AMOLED display is true love.

The screen is also bright, so there won’t be any kind of issue while using the Honor Band 6 under sunlight. The band doesn’t have an auto-brightness sensor but you can adjust the brightness from the band itself.

Again, it has all the features like SpO2, Stress, Sleep Monitor sensors, and heart rate monitoring. By the way, I don’t use SpO2 or even heart rate monitoring 24/7 but I do active when I do exercise or go for a run.

Also, sleep monitoring works the best, I have used Xiaomi and even RealMe’s smart Bands but out of all the smart bands, I feel, Honor provides more accurate data when it comes to sleep monitoring and the same can be said for the fitness data too.

Honor has provided a Health application where you will be able to control the fitness band. The app layout is great, everything is well-organized, and you won’t have a hard time finding anything.

Keep in mind, that the band doesn’t have GPS built-in which is kind of okay because no other fitness bands provide the GPS for under Rs 5,000.

By the way, the band will last for about 14-days, if you don’t use all the features but if you use features like 24/7 SpO2, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking then expect the battery life to be around 8 to 9 days.

Talking about myself, I bought the Honor Band 6 during Amazon Sale and that’s why I got it at only Rs 2999.

Overall, considering the features and everything else, Honor Band 6 is worth buying, if you want the best fitness tracker at a good price. Don’t buy Honor Band 6, if you don’t do exercise, for day-to-day use, it’s better to go with a smartwatch because will look good.

Redmi Smart Band Pro

So finally, Xiaomi went with a different design, now this is not Mi Band 7 but Redmi is a Xiaomi brand, so now, technically, this can compete with Honor Band 6.

The Redmi Smart Band Pro has the same specification as Honor Band 6, there is not a single change in the features. The only change is, that the software and the rest are the same…

It comes with a 1.47-inches AMOLED display and it’s also a bright panel too, so there won’t be any kind of issue while using the Band under sunlight.

By the way, I have used Mi Bands for years and one thing is for sure is, that I’m not a big fan of the Mi Fit application or even Band UI. I feel it is high time Xiaomi changes the application UI and makes it more user-friendly.

Now, this is all me, you might like the design, it depends on a user by user.

When it comes to sleep monitoring, the band doesn’t provide accurate data. Now, it’s not like, it cut out hours from sleep but compared to my Honor Band 6, I feel, the Redmi Smart Band Pro provides decent sleep.

I always use, a fitness tracker while running and when I do exercise and I feel, Redmi has done a good job, no issue here.

The band will last for about 14-days, if you don’t use all the features but if you use features like 24/7 SpO2, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking then expect the battery life to be around 8 to 9 days

Again, it has all the features like SpO2, Stress, Sleep Monitor sensors, and heart rate monitoring.

Overall, Redmi Smart Band Pro is a solid offering from Xiaomi and it does stand out at Rs 3999 price tag but still, if you’re paying Rs 3999 then I would highly recommend you consider the Honor Band 6 for ease of use.

Mi Smart Band 6

BluetoothBluetooth Version 5.0
Battery Life14 Days
FeaturesiOS and Android Compatibility
5ATM Swim-proof IP rating

Stress Monitor

Now, for some reason, if you don’t like to use a big display then you can consider the Mi Smart Band 6, it has a pile shape design. The Mi Smart Band 6 comes with a larger 1.56-inches AMOLED display and again, the screen is bright enough to use outdoors.

Xiaomi has promised 14-days of battery life but you won’t get 14-days of battery life if you use all the features. So if you use features like 24/7 SpO2, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking then expect the battery life to be around 8 to 9 days.

This too has all the features like SpO2, Stress, Sleep Monitor sensors, and heart rate monitoring. Xiaomi also offers the Mi Fit Application where you will be able to see all the fitness data, and battery percentage, update the smart band, and do all kinds of stuff to control the Mi Smart Band 6.

Now, I have already talked about the Mi Fit Application, so in short, see some videos on YouTube and decide, whether you like the application or Band UI.

As this is a fitness tracker, it provides accurate fitness data but the same can’t be said for the sleep data. Now, it’s not like, it cut out hours from sleep but compared to my Honor Band 6, I feel, the Mi Smart Band 6 provides decent sleep.

Overall, for the price of Rs 3499, I feel, you should add Rs 500 to your budget and either consider the Honor Band 6 or Redmi Smart Band Pro unless and until you don’t want to buy a larger fitness band.

Mi Smart Band 5

Display1.1-inches Display
Touch Screen Panel,
BluetoothBluetooth Version 5.0
Battery Life14 Days
FeaturesiOS and Android Compatibility
5ATM Swim-proof IP rating
Heart Rate Monitor
Sleep Tracking
Stress Monitor

Mi Smart Band 5 has all the features of Mi Smart Band 6 except the SpO2 sensor and larger display. It comes with a 1.1-inches AMOLED display and yes, it is bright enough to use outdoors.

Other than that, MI Band 5 provides the same data as Mi Band 6.

Overall, if you don’t want to spend Rs 3499 on Mi Smart Band 6 and you can compromise on the SpO2 sensor & display size then Mi Smart Band 5 is a far better option because it’s only available at Rs 2499.

Also, if you can wait for Amazon Sale then you can get Mi Band 5 at as low as Rs 1999.

Verdict

Considering the price and features, the Honor Band 6 is by far the best option under Rs 5000 in India, it checks all the boxes, and it’s also available at a good price too.
