Is it Worth Buying RealMe Watch 3?

RealMe Watch 3 Image11

Yes, the RealMe Watch 3 is worth buying because it offers everything that you’re looking for in a budget smartwatch from calling feature, waterproofing, accurate fitness data, good looking design, smooth watch UI, and is available at Rs 3,499 which is a good price for what RealMe is offering.

Now, of course, the watch does have its Pros and Cons but as this is priced at Rs 3499, one should not complain about it because no brand will give you everything at a budget price.

By the way, it has a 1.80-inches TFT display with 500 nits pick brightness, so there won’t be any issue while using the watch outdoors.

Also, the watch is made out of 100% plastic, so you won’t get that premium feel but the watch does look great in hands because of its design.

Overall, yes, you can consider buying RealMe Watch 3 and you won’t be disappointed with its performance.

Speaker and Microphone

RealMe Watch 3 Image03

For some reason, the microphone is great but the same can’t be said for the speaker.

Now, if you’re at home or somewhere else where there is no noise then you will be able to hear someone on call but if you’re in a crowded place then it will get hard to hear someone because the speaker doesn’t go very loud.

In the same way, the microphone quality is great, you won’t have to keep your hand close to your mouth, just do your normal tasks and another person on call will be able to hear you clearly.

Now, if this is a software issue then I will let you know after two or three updates but if not then, don’t buy this watch for calling purposes.

By the way, the RealMe Watch 3 doesn’t have SIM Card support, it relies on Bluetooth. In short, keep your smartphone with the smartwatch all the time to use the calling feature.

Battery Life

The RealMe Watch 3 has a 340mAh battery and it will take 2.5 hours to charge from 1% to 100%.

RealMe has also promised 7-days of battery life but that won’t happen in Real Life.

If you use all the features from SpO2, heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking then expect the battery life to be around 2 to 3 days battery life.

Accuracy

The raise-to-wake feature also works great and you will be able to disable and enable the feature directly from the smartwatch, you won’t have open the app for it.

The SpO2 sensor also works the best, it doesn’t feel gimmicky and the same can be said for the heart rate monitoring too.

Let’s say, if the smartwatch is showing 110 footsteps then it would be 120, so keep the error margin around 5%.

By the way, the sleep monitoring data is not that great, so don’t trust this watch at all, it’s good that RealMe has added but still, the sleep monitoring needs to be fixed. I will let you know after some time, how it performs.

Overall, now, if you’re a fitness freak then you should go with Amazfit but if you’re not then you will be more than happy with the RealMe Watch 3.

Verdict

Still, if you have any doubts then do read the RealMe Watch 3 full review,

Now, if you ask me I don’t like to talk to someone on the smartwatch and I also don’t like TFT panels.

In short, the RealMe Watch 3 is not for me, I would rather go with Amazfit GTS 2 Mini which is available at Rs 5999 and has the best AMOLED display and it also looks good too.

In the end, you have to ask yourself, which features do you want the most? if the answer is Bluetooth calling then yes, go with RealMe Watch 3 and not then skip it…
