Is it Worth Buying Amazfit GTR Mini?
Amazfit is back with another mid-premium smartwatch that has almost everything except for Bluetooth calling, now this is huge as most Indian users are looking for this feature on a budget or even premium smartwatches.
The Amazfit GTR Mini is priced at Rs 10,999 in India and it comes in Midnight Black, Misty Pink, and Ocean Blue color option while it’s sold via Amazon.
Is it Worth Buying Amazfit GTR Mini?
A smartwatch is used for almost everything whether it’s fitness tracking, notification, reminders, seeing time, and taking/receiving calls. Now in the case of Amazfit GTR Mini, it does have everything except for Bluetooth calling.
This is a big letdown because this 11k smartwatch and not a 2k.
So to great a point, NO, the Amazfit GTR Mini is not worth buying at Rs 10,999, this would have been the best smartphone for 5k or 6k. However, if you wanted good looking smartwatch that measures health data accurately and you don’t care about Bluetooth calling then do consider it otherwise skip it.
Now, this doesn’t mean, the watch is the worst but it means that Amazfit is charging way extra money for what they’re offering.
I mean, this would have been a good option, if they have added only Bluetooth calling but again, they wanted to make difference between Amazfit GTS 4 and this watch.
Now, if you wanted Amazfit Smartwatch then do consider The Amazfit GTS 4 Mini which is available at Rs 6,999, or better just go with Amazfit GTS 2 Mini New which is available at Rs 4,999.
Display
The Amazfit GTR Mini comes with a 1.28-inch rounded HD+ AMOLED Display with a resolution of 416×416 Pixel and 326PPI Density.
So yes, there is nothing to worry about regarding the display at all, it’s the best you can get for the price of Rs 10,999.
Also, the screen brightness is up to the mark, so there is nothing to worry about.
At the same time, Amazfit has provided a rock-solid build, in short, the build looks and feels premium and it feels like an 11k smartwatch.
Health Tracking
Amazfit has added all the sensors from BioTracker™ PPG biometric sensor, Acceleration sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, Ambient light sensor, and even 5 satellite positioning systems.
So for health tracking, you won’t be disappointed at all.
Also, Amazfit is using their own GPS tracking system, so if you go for outdoor runs a lot then you will be more than happy with the accuracy of your live location.
Once you finish running, the watch will send all your running data to Zepp Application where you can monitor, how many calories you have burned and how much you have run.
Overall, I’m happy with the data I got from the Amazfit GTR Mini, it’s just that, the watch is a bit pricey.
Battery Life
Amazfit has promised about 15 days of battery life with casual usage but in real life, you can expect the battery to last for about 12 days but if you use all the features like 24/7 heart rate tracking, sleep tracking, and even SpO2 then expect the battery to last for 5 days.
The Amazfit GTR Mini has a 270mAh battery and it will take about 2 hours to charge from 0% to 100%.

Verdict
Yes, products are getting expensive whether smartphones or smartwatches but that doesn’t mean, companies can increase the prices too much. Now, that’s the case with Amazfit GTR Mini, this watch doesn’t worth the 11k price tag at all.
